Head Coach Alison Risser

Alison Risser enters her seventh season as the head coach of the Red Devil field hockey program. Dickinson enjoyed its best season under coach Risser in 2004, making their first appearance in the Centennial Conference playoffs. The Red Devils finished 11-7 overall and posted an 8-2 mark in the CC.

Risser began her head coaching career at Frostburg State University in Maryland, taking over the field hockey program in 1996. She has also served as an assistant coach at some of the nation’s top programs including Lebanon Valley, Franklin & Marshall, and her alma mater Ohio University.

Risser is a 1994 graduate of OU, earning four letters in field hockey and captaining the team her senior year. From there she went on to receive her master’s degree as a graduate assistant at Frostburg State.
