Head Coach Darwin Breaux

With one of the best career winning percentages in Dickinson history, Darwin Breaux is back for his 14th season at the helm. During his first 13 seasons, Breaux has compiled a 79-53-1 record and guided the Red Devils into post-season play three times, including the 1998 ECAC Southwest Championship. In 2001 he replaced Ed Sweeney with the most wins in the history of the program. Sweeney posted 56 wins from 1985-92.

The Red Devils finished 3-3 in the Centennial Conference in 2005, after capturing a share of their eighth CC Championship title the year before.

Breaux joined the Dickinson football staff in 1989 as offensive coordinator. In addition to those duties, he headed up the team’s recruiting. Breaux took over as head coach before the start of the 1993 campaign and led the Red Devils to a berth in the ECAC Southwest Region Championship game. His 1994 team put together a school record 10-0 season and earned an NCAA Playoff appearance. For his efforts, he was named the AFCA South Region Coach of The Year. During his time at Dickinson, Breaux has coached 16 All-Americans.

Before coming to Dickinson, Breaux was an assistant football coach at Gettysburg College, as well as serving as the Bullets’ head golf and wrestling coach. He has also been a graduate assistant at West Chester University and coached at two high schools in his home state of Louisiana.
A 1977 graduate of West Chester University, Breaux was a four-year member of the university’s football squad and was on the golf team.

Breaux’s duties at Dickinson also include coaching men’s golf and a teaching position within the Physical Education department. He lives in Boiling Springs with his wife and their two children.
