Head Coach Jonathan Birbeck

Jonathan Birbeck served from 1995-1998 as the Dickinson College Men's Tennis assistant coach before taking over as head coach in 1999. The Red Devils posted an even 8-8 record in 2001, improved to 12-6 in 2002 and have posted five straight 11-plus win seasons. The team continues to improve, scheduling regionally and nationally ranked teams during Spring Break trips to Hilton Head, SC to compliment the challenging Centennial Conference competition.

In addition to coaching Men's Tennis, Birbeck serves the community as Chief Deputy District Attorney of Cumberland County and heads the Trial Division of Criminal Court.

He is active with the USTA and served as a Level I NTRP verifier for USTA league play. Birbeck captained USTA mixed and mens teams to six regional titles and four national appearances since 1993 including a finalist in the Mens USTA in 2000.
