Fall Check-Out Procedures
Fall check-out procedures applies to any student that will be going
abroad for the Spring semester, transferring, withdrawing, taking leave
from the college or anyone that has been approved for a room change.
Please see the section under room
changes for the proper procedures for switching rooms.
When checking out at the end of the Fall semester, you will need to
turn in your keys and remove all of your belongings from your room no
later then Monday, December 17th at noon when the Residence Halls close
for the winter break. Your room should be left clean and your key(s)
brought to the Residential Life Office or placed in the drop box located
outside of the office. Another student will be moving in to your current
space next semester, perhaps before you return to campus. Thus we must
have your space completely vacated. If you will be returning to campus
in the Spring, you will not be able to gain access to your new space
until the Residence Halls re-open on Saturday, January 19h. Please make
your travel plans accordingly.
If we do not receive your keys by December 17h we will have to change
the lock(s) on your current room. This will be charged to your student
account. If a student comes to move in to your current space and your
belongings are still there we will have to remove them at your expense.
