All first-semester students in voice must register for MUSIC 113A, voice class.

The extra fee for 1/2 course is $315 and $630 for a full course. For all Music majors the half-hour fee is waived, and for all majors with a performance studies emphasis the full-hour fee is waived, provided the following conditions are met:

1. The student must be a declared Music major.
2. The student must have completed one course in the core music curriculum, AND be pre-registered for a second core course in music.

A certain number of Performance Studies scholarships are available each semester, and these are made through the student's studio teacher.

In order to register for Performance Studies instruction, a students must first meet with the appropriate instructor AND obtain a signed Performance Studies Registration Form (available at the Registrar's Office and on line at the Forms link of our web page), which must be submitted to the Registrar's Office no later than the end of the add/drop period. Otherwise, a student will be blocked from registering for the course.
