Department Overview
The College's Department of Public Safety is a service unit within the division of Student Life in service 24 hours daily, 7 days a week to safeguard and serve the faculty, staff, student, and visitors that make up the campus community. The Director of Public Safety oversees all operations of the department and reports to the Dean Of Students.
Public Safety Officers are primarily responsible for maintaining a safe and secure living and working environment, the efficient flow of traffic and enforcement of parking regulations on campus, facilities security and property protection, emergency response, environmental and health safety, and assure compliance with the laws of the Commonwealth and regulations of the College.
