Monday, 4 February

1000hrs.          33 Cherry Street, Longsdroff Hall, Residential Student Housing.  Vandalism.  Report of vandalism having occurred within the residence during the course of the previous weekend – graffiti inscribed into the exterior housing of a vending machine.  Anyone who may have additional  information is requested to please contact the Department of Public Safety at (717) 245-1349 or www.dickinson.edu/departments/pubsaf/anonymoustips.html

 

1655hrs.          131 South College Street, Strayer House, Residential Student Housing.  Fire Alarm – Accidental.  Alarm triggered during maintenance by Facilities Management Services.

 

2035hrs.          28 North College Street, Holland Union Building, Dining Services.  Larceny / Theft.  Report of personal property – clothing: hooded sweatshirt, have been stolen from within the facility between 1645 and 2030hrs.  Anyone who may have additional  information is requested to please contact the Department of Public Safety at (717) 245-1349 or www.dickinson.edu/departments/pubsaf/anonymoustips.html

 

2150hrs.          60 South College Street, Drayer Hall, Residential Student Housing.  College Policy Violation – Prohibited animal within a residence.  Investigation of an animal complaint resulted in the identification of one subject found to be in violation of College Residence Hall policies, for possessing a prohibited animal.  This incident has been forwarded to the College Discipline System for further review.

Wednesday, 6 February

0255hrs.          373 and 379 West Louther Street, Town Houses, Residential Student Housing.  Disorderly Conduct & Public Drunkenness.  Investigation of a reported disturbance resulted in the identification of one subject for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.  Suspect fled the scene, leaving College property, and was later arrested by the Borough of Carlisle Police Department (CPD) in the 400 block of West North Street on unrelated charges.

 

1030hrs.          1250 Ritner Highway, Wentzel’s Building, Toys for Tots, Exterior.  Attempted Burglary.  Reported discovery of an attempted forced entry into an exterior storage facility, that is believed to have occurred between 23 January and 6 February 2008.  Anyone who may have additional  information is requested to please contact the Department of Public Safety at (717) 245-1349 or www.dickinson.edu/departments/pubsaf/anonymoustips.html

 

1210hrs.          360 West High Street, Morgan Hall, Residential Student Housing.  Vandalism.  Reported discovery of vandalism to private property within the residence.

 

 

 


 

Thursday, 7 February

1635hrs.          90 South College Street, Adams Hall, Residential Student Housing.  Fire Alarm – Accidental.  Alarm triggered by aerosol used within the area of the laundry room.

 

1825hrs.          55 Cherry Street, Armstrong Hall, Residential Student Housing.  Fire Alarm – Cooking Related.  Alarm triggered by burnt food.

 

 

 


 

Friday, 8 February

0910hrs.          90 South College Street, Adams Hall, Residential Student Housing.  Fire Alarm – Accidental.  Alarm triggered during hair styling.

                        During the investigation of this fire alarm activation, two subjects were identified for having failed to evacuate from the residence, in violation of College Life Safety policies.  This matter has been forwarded to the College Discipline System for further review.

 

1040hrs.          90 South College Street, Adams Hall, Residential Student Housing.  Fire Alarm – Accidental.  Alarm triggered during hair styling.

 

 

 


 

Saturday, 9 February

0315hrs.          Nisbet Campus, 300 block Dickinson Avenue, Campus Property.  Liquor Law Violations & Related.  Investigation resulted in the identification of one subject for liquor law violations and public drunkenness.  This matter has been forwarded to the College Discipline System for further review.

 

 

 


 

Sunday, 10 February

0210hrs.          434 West Louther Street, Wilson / Davidson Hall, Residential Student Housing.  Disorderly Conduct.  Investigation of reported of disturbance within the residence.  Suspect was identified and incident resolved.

 

1450hrs.          411 Dickinson Avenue, Kisner-Woodward Hall, Residential Student Housing.  Fire Alarm – Cooking Related.  Alarm triggered by burnt food.

 

1520hrs.          90 South College Street, Adams Hall, Residential Student Housing.  Fire Alarm – Cooking Related.  Alarm triggered by burnt food.
