Tuesday, 1 April

0150hrs.          410 Dickinson Avenue, McKenney Hall, Residential Student Housing.  Vandalism.  Exterior window to residence broken.  Investigation found that the window had been broken by a drinking glass having been thrown at the window from the exterior of the building.  Anyone who may have additional  information is requested to please contact the Department of Public Safety at (717) 245-1349 or www.dickinson.edu/departments/pubsaf/anonymoustips.html

 

1430hrs.          200 block West Pomfret Street, Street Adjoining Campus.  Policy Violations – Parking / Vehicle related. Investigation of repeated parking complaints resulted in the identification of policy violations regarding first year student vehicle prohibitions.  Information forwarded to the College Discipline System for further review.

 

1515hrs.          1st block Belvedere Street, Street Adjoining Campus, area of the Biddle Practice Field.  Damage to Property.  Vehicle window broken by lacrosse ball thrown / struck from the practice field.  Restitution made to the owner for damages.

 


 

Wednesday, 2 April

2000hrs.          Nisbet Campus, 400 block Dickinson Avenue.  Property – Abandoned: Bicycle.  Bicycle belonging to the College was discovered to have been abandoned and left unsecured.  Property was placed into secure storage to await repair.

 

 


 

Thursday, 3 April

1110hrs.          519 West Louther Street, Residential Student Housing.  Fire Alarm – Accidental.  Alarm triggered during facility maintenance.

 

1300hrs.          360 West High Street, Morgan Hall, Residential Student Housing.  Larceny / Theft.  Report of personal laptop computer having been left unattended and unsecured in the third floor common lounge of the residence between 0115hrs. and 1115hrs., and was discovered missing upon return of the owner.  Property is described as an Apple MacBook, silver in color.  Anyone who may have additional  information is requested to please contact the Department of Public Safety at (717) 245-1349 or www.dickinson.edu/departments/pubsaf/anonymoustips.html

 


 

Friday, 4 April

1110hrs.          1st block Cherry Street, Depot Parking Lot.

                        100 block Mooreland Avenue, Street Adjoining Campus.

200 block West Pomfret Street, Street Adjoining Campus.

                        400 block West Louther Street, Street Adjoining Campus.

                        Policy Violations – Parking / Vehicle related.  Investigation of repeated parking complaints resulted in the identification of policy violations regarding first year student vehicle prohibitions.  Information forwarded to the College Discipline System for further review.

 

2000hrs.          200 block West North Street, Street Adjoining Campus.  Assist other Law Enforcement Agency.  Borough of Carlisle Police Department was assisted in the investigation of a reported burglary that took place at an off-campus residence in the 200 block of West North Street, between the hours of 0200 and 0300hrs. that morning. 2045hrs.          Nisbet Campus Parking Lot, 300 block West Louther Street, Campus Property.  Liquor Law Violations.  Investigation resulted in the identification of three students for possession and transportation of liquors while under legal age, and two students for furnishing liquor to minors.  This matter has been forwarded to the College Discipline System for further review, and charges have been filed with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

 


 

Saturday, 5 April

1630hrs.          1st block South College Street, Street Adjoining Campus.  Policy Violations – Parking / Vehicle related.  Investigation of repeated parking complaints resulted in the identification of policy violations regarding first year student vehicle prohibitions.  Information forwarded to the College Discipline System for further review.

 

2220hrs.          Nisbet Campus Parking Lot, 300 block West Louther Street.  Liquor Law Violation.  Investigation resulted in the identification of one student for liquor law violations and public drunkenness.  This matter has been forwarded to the College Discipline System for further review.

 

 


 

Sunday, 6 April

1240hrs.          90 South College Street, Rear, Witwer Hall, Residential Student Housing.  Fire Alarm – Cooking Related.  Alarm triggered by burnt food.

 

1350hrs.          90 South College Street, Rear, Witwer Hall, Residential Student Housing.  Fire Alarm – Cooking Related.  Alarm triggered by burnt food.

 

2145hrs.          100 block Cherry Street, Street Adjoining Campus.  Assist other Law Enforcement Agency.  Borough of Carlisle Police Department was assisted in responding to a reported multi-vehicle traffic collision involving vehicles belonging to members of the College.  Operator of the striking vehicle, non-College related, was detained by Public Safety and taken into custody by Carlisle Police for DUI and related violations.  No persons were reported to have been injured as a result of this incident.
