Susan M. Feldman, Professor of Philosophy, Ph.D., University of Rochester. Her interests include the history of modern philosophy, the problem of knowledge and skepticism, philosophy of science, and ethics, both "pure" and "applied" to such areas as the environment, the status of women, medicine, and public policy. Contributing faculty member to the Environmental Studies, Women's Studies and Policy Studies programs. |

Philip T. Grier, Professor of Philosophy, Ph.D., University of Michigan. He teaches a variety of courses in ethics, social and political philosophy, and the history of philosophy. He has a special interest in Hegel and the Hegelian tradition, and also does work in Russian philosophy. |

Jessica Wahman, Associate Professor of Philosophy, Ph.D., State University of New York at Stony Brook. She specializes in American philosophy, particularly the work of George Santayana, and also in philosophical issues pertaining to psychology. She has broad interests in other topics, connected to these specializations, such as philosophy of mind, epistemology, the philosophy of education, and existentialism.

Thomas Nadelhoffer, Assistant Professor of Philosophy, B.A., University of Georgia, 1996; M.A., Georgia State University, 1999; Ph.D., Florida State University, 2005. His research and teaching interests lie in the intersection of moral, legal and political philosophy, as well as experimental philosophy. He is particularly interested in the relationship between the ordinary concepts of free will, action, agency and moral responsibility, on the one hand, and their legal counterparts in the criminal justice system on the other. |
