General Information, Location and Hours of Operation

Dickinson College has developed and coordinated numerous campus and Carlisle Community resources which are available to help maintain student health and treat various physical and psychological concerns. 

The Student Health Center is located at the corner of Cherry and Louther streets.  The Center is located in the extension to the Kline Center next to the Fitness Center.  The facility operates like your doctor's office at home, so please call and make an appointment. Most students are seen the same day they call.  The Health Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 - 4:30 (except Tues. closed from 1:00 - 2:00), and open Saturdays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Once a month the Center is closed from 8:30 - 10:00 for a Division meeting. The dates will vary, so please call for an appointment before coming over. Call as early in the day as possible to secure an appointment the same day.

Hours of operation during the summer months vary.  Please call the office for details.

The Health Center and the Counseling Center are separate departments. If you would like to meet with a psychologist for individual counseling please call ext. 1485, or from a cell phone 717-245-1485. You can visit their web site for more information at http://www.dickinson.edu/departments/couns/.

Saturdays 11:00 am- 1:00 pm
Open over lunch every day.

If you have an emergency during the time we are closed call ext. 1111 for the Department of Public Safety for transportation to the Carlisle Regional Medical Center Emergency Department.
