Computer Resources

Most labs in the department have computers that can be used for general computing purposes (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.) as well as lab-specific tasks. Also, the department has a Geographical Information Systems (GIS) lab housed in the library that features 16 high-end PCs with GIS software and a large format color plotter. The Geology Department also maintains a collection of general purpose and geological software for teaching and research.
