RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research melds geochemical, isotopic, and petrographic observations of metamorphic rocks with computer models that aid in interpreting these observations. In general, I am interested in geochemical studies of igneous and metamorphic rocks that seek to determine the cause of chemical zoning and reaction textures in minerals. In particular, I am interested in the use of thermobarometry and diffusion modeling in elucidating the tectonic history of metamorphic terrains.
