Construction of the new Life Sciences Building commenced with a Groundbreaking Ceremony on May 5, 2006. Demolition of the James Center and 10 small houses along College Street and Railroad Avenue began the week of June 19th. The new building will be ready for occupancy in June 2008 and will house the departments of Biology, Chemistry and Psychology. A live construction webcam has been installed to moniter the progress of the project.
