"Photojournalistic Trip Across America"
Photojournalistic Trip Across America: A nine week, 10,000 mile trip around the country to experience the variety of people, cultures, landscapes, and life in one of the world's most unique and diverse nations. Through photographs, I intended to document and capture what I experienced for the benefit of the Dickinson community, to continue its efforts in expanding student's horizons beyond our east coast location; in addition, I believe that the purpose my project meshed well with that of the College's renowned global education program--only somewhat closer to home. Having broadened my horizons, gained photography experience under various conditions with various subjects and investigated some land-use case studies (as a policy major with a conservation focus). Now the only question is how and when I can go further . . . I think I might enjoy this type of work!
