Marc Mastrangelo has taught at Dickinson since 1997. He has also taught at the primary, secondary, and junior college levels. His courses range from ancient drama and philosophy in translation to courses at all levels in Latin and Greek literature, history, and philosophy. He has written on Socrates, Plato, Sophocles, and the fourth century Christian poet Prudentius. He is an editor and contributor to The Unknown Socrates (Bolchazy-Carducci, 2002) and is the author of The Roman Self in Late Antiquity: Prudentius and the Poetics of the Soul.
