It would be impossible to exaggerate the influence of chemistry on the development of our modern, technology-driven society. Advances made in the chemical sciences have had a profound impact on our lives. Our goal is to allow students the opportunity to participate in furthering these advances by providing them with a firm foundation in chemistry. We aim to fulfill this mission through the use of innovative instructional methodologies, exposure to relevant laboratory techniques, field experiences, and the hands-on use of modern instrumentation.
