For Dickinson’s third Day of Giving, Tuesday, April 25, 3,277 Dickinsonians around the world stepped up, tapped into our shared Dickinson pride and came together to make gifts totaling more than $870,000 to the college in 24 hours.

Day of Giving Schedule

Tuesday, April 25 – Day of Giving

12 a.m.–11:59 p.m. Every Gift Counts: Step up to the challenge and help us make history.

8 a.m.– noon. Give a Little, Get a Latte: Complimentary coffee from The Peddler will be available on Britton Plaza as a reminder that great things will happen when our community comes together!

11 a.m.–8 p.m. Strike a Pose: Grab a friend or two and pose in our Day of Giving themed photo booth in the HUB! You can then join the Faces of Philanthropy display when you make your gift. Britton Plaza/HUB.

Wednesday, April 26 – Day to Thank 

Help Us Say "Thank You": Sign postcards to alumni, parents and friends who supported Day of Giving to let them know we appreciate their generosity. HUB.


STEP UP TO THE CHALLENGE(S)

This year's Day of Giving features several challenges that have unlocked nearly $100,000 in additional funding for the college.

Rush Hour Challenge: With 817 gifts between 7 and 9 a.m., we unlocked $10,000 in funding, thanks to a challenge gift from Kevin Holleran ’73.‚Äč

Power Lunch Challenge: With 497 gifts between noon and 2 p.m., we unlocked $10,000 in funding, thanks to a challenge gift from Abbegayle and Michael Morrow '05.

Reunion Alumni Challenge: We unlocked $50,000, thanks to a challenge gift from George and Jennifer Ward Reynolds '77. 

Young Alumni Challenge: We unlocked $20,000, thanks to a challenge gift from the Class of 2007 Reunion Committee.

Parent Challenge: We unlocked $10,000, thanks to an anonymous current parent.
