Analytic Thinking: You learn to create and evaluate logical arguments and to generate new ideas.
Communication: Philosophy majors can write clearly and accurately, edit and rewrite, and inform and explain.
Research: Gathering information and synthesizing ideas from different sources to write reports and to present conclusions you've developed.
Problem Solving: Philosophy majors have the ability to identify a problem, recognize its source, evaluate hidden assumptions, and develop a new solution.
Close Reading: You are able to dissect texts and documents to understand the subtleties.
