Career-Related Skills of Economic Majors

Logic & Problem Solving: Economics majors use rigorous thinking, statistical inference and historical study to answer economic questions.

Understanding of Statistical Tables & Graphic Analysis: Economics students understand different theories and problems through graphic analysis.  They learn to interpret information from graphs, diagrams, and statistical reports.  A strong mathematical background is required.

Ability to Apply Theory: Through studying various schools of economic thought, majors learn to critically apply a broad range of analysis to current economic situations.
