Career-Related Skills of Computer Science Majors

Problem Solving: Computer Science students have the ability to identify a problem, recognize its source, evaluate hidden assumptions, and develop a new solution.

Analytical Thinking: Computer Science students learn to create and evaluate logical arguments, as well as to generate new ideas.

Patience & Attention to Detail: Computer Science majors learn to pay attention to all of the small details of a program so that it will run properly. Patience is developed by reworking programs that do not work correctly.
