Create a Job Description

  1. Go to the DickinsonConnect home page.
  2. Login on the ride side of the page under "Current Members Login Here."
  • Click "Forgot Password" and fill in the online form. (leave the username field blank)
  • Your Username and Password will be emailed to you immediately.

     3.  On the left hand side of the Employer Home Page click the link for "Post  Job/ Internship."
     4.  Fill in the Job Description Form as completely and as accurately as possible.

  • Please Note: Under "How would you like candidates to contact you?"

    • Remove the default check mark from "Apply Online ( Resume responses will be sent to your e-mail confidentially. Your e-mail address will not be viewable by candidates.) This option is only used if you require the students to submit a resume for your position.
    • Only Check the Box for "Apply Online - Website ( Students will be redirected to your website to apply for this job.)" if you have a website where students can fill in or download an application for your position.

     5.  After you fill in all of the necessary information, select the "Preview and Save Job Posting" button at           the bottom of the page.
     6.  The job description will be displayed as it will appear online for your review.
     7.  After you review your job posting, please select the "Post this Job" button at the bottom of the job           description.
     8.  Your job description will be sent to the Student Employment Office for review and will be posted            online within 48 hours.

Repost an Existing Job Description

  1. Login to DickinsonConnect.
  2. Scroll down on your home page and see your list of job postings in the system.
  3. Click the "Edit" button next to the the position you wish to activate.
  4. Review and edit any details of your job description.
  5. select the "Preview and Save Job Posting" button at the bottom of the page.
  6. The job description will be displayed as it will appear online for your review.
  7. After you review your job posting, please select the "Post this Job" button at the bottom of the job description.
  8. Your edited job description will now reappear in your list of job postings.
  9. Click the "Repost" button next to the edited position you wish to activate.
  10. Your job description will be sent to the Student Employment Office for review and will be posted online within 48 hours.

Close an Existing Job Posting

  1. Login to DickinsonConnect.
  2. Scroll down on your home page and see your list of job postings in the system.
  3. Click the "Close" button next to the the position you wish to deactivate.
  4. Your job posting will be deactivated in the system, but will not be deleted.
