Internship Transcript Notations
What: An official College recognition of your internship. It is a documentation of your internship on your college transcript. This replaces credited internships.
Who: Any student who has an internship and would like additional support and guidance in professional development and career exploration. This will help you be more prepared for your next step (another internship, grad school, or a job). Policy Studies and IB&M majors will be required to have this notation by the time they graduate (unless you’ve already fulfilled your internship requirement).
When: The transcript notation will be available during fall and spring semesters, and during the summer.
Registration: Registration for summer and fall is open. Summer registration deadline is June 9. Go to http://gateway.dickinson.edu. Once you log in to Gateway, you can access the internship registration form by clicking on the “Student Forms” tab. The internship registration form will be listed as one of your available forms on the left-hand menu.
Questions: Please feel free to contact Rachel Weaver (weaverr@dickinson.edu) with any questions you have!
As always: The Career Center is here to help you with your internship search, even if you don’t do the notation!
