German Writer-In-Residence Wins Literary Award

Hans Joachim Schädlich, a former German writer-in-residence at Dickinson College, has award the Joseph Breitbach Prize in Germany. This prize is one of the most important literary awards in the German-speaking world. Schädlich was a writer-in-residence at Dickinson in the Spring 1994, and again in Fall 2005. This makes Schädlich the third Dickinson writer-in-residence to win this award, in addition to F. C. Delius and Herta Müller.
