The Asbell Center is delighted to announce that Rabbi Loraine Heller will be joining us for joint Hillel-Beth Tikvah High Holy Day services this year. Rabbi Heller was ordained by Hebrew Union College and served for the last two decades as spiritual leader of Temple Beth El in Bradford, Pennsylvania. In addition to conducting High Holy Day services on a number of different college campuses, she also spent two years working as a Peace Corp volunteer in the Ukraine. She has a trained singing voice and will lead many of the prayers in addition to delivering sermons and meeting individually with students who would like to spend some time with her.
