All Musicians: Don't Miss the Annual "Music
Audition Night!"
This annual event is only held once at the beginning of each
academic year.
When: Tuesday, Aug 28th, beginning
at 5:30 p.m. sharp!
Where: Weiss Center for the Arts,
Rubendall Recital Hall
What: Auditions for all Dickinson
College Co-Curricular Ensembles are held at this one event:

Choir
- Collegium (Chamber choir)
- Jazz Ensemble
- Orchestra
- DICE (Dickinson Improvisation and Collaboration Ensemble)
- Chamber Music
- Auditions for the biennial musical production, “The Spitfire
Grill” a joint production between the departments of Music and
Theatre and Dance.
Included is a brief Information Session re:
- Ensemble rehearsal schedules, Music Lessons, Scholarships for Lessons, Music Lockers, Instrument rental, Music Dept. Classes, and the Music Major/Minor.
Audition Repertory: Students may bring
their own short piece to play or sing, or vocalists may choose from
select repertory provided at the audition. (An accompanist will be
provided for vocal auditions.) Students are advised to present a
piece that demonstrates their musical abilities and should be
prepared to sight-read a short excerpt or to play scales.
FOOD: Free pizza and soda will be served
before the auditions.
