International Business and Management Department Senior Prizes and Awards are based on the criteria below each year:
The Grant D. Fryling: The Fryling prize was established by friends, family and classmates of Grant D. Fryling, Class of 2004, in memory of his active involvement with the International Business and Management Department, which he considered a meaningful and important part of his Dickinson experience. The award recognizes the importance of a student’s commitment to and passion for a field of study. It is awarded to the graduating senior International Business and Management major who demonstrates academic excellence in the field.
The John L. King Prize for Excellence in International Business and Management: The King prize was established in honor of John L. King, a professor of economics at Dickinson from 1959 to 1988, who taught accounting for much of his career. The prize is awarded to a senior International Business and Management major who has achieved scholastic excellence in the field.
