This year, four students in the psychology department will defend honors theses. Presentations are open to anyone who is interested in attending a thesis defense. Please come by for one or more presentations on Wednesday, May 11. Hear about this year's research projects, and support the students! Thesis presentations will be from 1-5 pm in Kaufman 179.
Alyssa Compeau will present "An Experimental Investigation of Fat Talk among College Women" at 1 pm, followed by Diliana Funtarova's presentation of "Phantom Effects, or What Happens When I Cannot Get What I Want" at 2 pm.
At 3 o'clock, John Monopoli will address "Language Ability as a Mediator Between Emotion Regulation and Social Competence in Second Grade Students". Taylor Putnam is scheduled to present "Decision-Making between Different Sized Choice Sets: How the Number of Available Options Affects Peak Satisfaction" at 4 pm.
