INTERESTED IN BEING AN ECO-REP FOR 2010-2011?  The Office of Campus Sustainability and the Office of Campus life are looking for 15-20 volunteer Eco-Reps (2-3 hr commitment per wk). Preference will be given to students who can make a full-year commitment.    For more information Download the application   Eco-Reps are nationally recognized peer mentors at many top liberal arts schools.  The Eco-Reps are volunteer representatives for each residence hall that work to promote sustainable behaviors among the residents, increase knowledge about sustainability topics, and provide a connection between the residence halls and sustainability resources on campus.  Although an Eco-Rep is a volunteer position, the Office of Campus Sustainability is planning to have several paid Eco-Rep supervisors for the year 2011-2012. Here is a link to the scoop for an LGBT internship opportunity that may be of interest to graduating seniors or alumni that you know:  http://www.scotthittfoundation.org/.  application deadline is May 7^th which could be tough, given the requirements.  But it is worth a look.  Remember, there is always 2011 and beyond.  Note for undergrads – there are also summer internships in California for undergrads but the 2010 deadline was April 16^th (something to think about for next year).  Be the change that you want to see for our movement….Take Care,  Joy
