Rabbi Ron Muroff will be leading a lunch discussion on Jewish perspective of tattoos and body piercing this Thursday, April 22nd, at the Asbell Center for Jewish Life, starting at 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm. He will discuss whether there is a debate within the sources about these things, is it always necessarily seen as self-mutilation or can the body be "beautified" in this way, and also about tattooed Holocaust numbers as the ultimate in degradation.
