The Cumberland County Commission for Women (CCCW) would like to invite you to “A Mock Trial” on Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. at Shippensburg University, in the Tuscarora Room in Reisner Dining Hall. 

CCCW is partnering with Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland & Perry Counties, the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Victims Services Division, Sexual Assault Rape Crisis of Cumberland County and the Shippensburg University Women’s Center for this event.This program supports CCCW’s efforts to educate the community about violence against women and the proceedings of the legal system.  The Mock Trial will involve a case of domestic violence and sexual assault.  District Attorney David Freed will serve as moderator and Shippensburg University college students will act as jurors.
