Seasonal Menu Specialist Grant-Funded Position Available for the fall 2010
 
The College Farm and Dining Services seek a dynamic student interested in developing seasonal menu options for the meal plan. The “Seasonal Menu Specialist” will work with chefs, local producers, the College Farm and fellow students to develop recipes that feature seasonally and regionally specific ingredients. A successful applicant will be self-motivated and have culinary experience, as well as an interest in developing recipes that are nutritionally dense and flavorful. Prior experience with health and nutrition work or counseling, experience with raising food and/or maintaining a seasonal diet, as well as hands-on training in menu development will be highly favored among the applicants. Position requires 15 hours of work per week and offers a competitive pay rate. Application deadline is April 9th.
