Phyllis Chapell, guitar and Ken Ulansey, Horn

    Phyllis Chapell performs an unique mix of originals, folk, jazz and international music, including sings in up to 12 languages from Brazil, Latin America, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.  She has performed in concert throughout the East Coast, the Midwest, in Brazil, Latin America, Mexico, and in Europe--and has released many CDs as a solo and with her work jazz ensemble Siora.

    Ken Ulansey is considered one of the most joyous, virtuosic of horn players anywhere, with the ability to play in a multitude of styles, including classical, jazz, latin, folk, and popular music.  A Pennsylvania Council for the Arts winner and Pew Grant finalist, he plays alto and soprano sax and penniwhistle.
