Few Jewish families these days go into mourning over a child who marries out; few Christian families still think non-Christians are damned. Nevertheless, cultural differences, sociological strains, and the weight of history and theology still present questions for such couples and their families. This talk will present some considerations in discussing intermarriage issues and suggest some strategies for interfaith couples and their extended families. Althouse 106
