| New Dickinson License Plates |
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will begin replacing special organization license plates in the spring of 2001. This is part of the state's plan to replace all old license plates (those with a blue or yellow background) with a new design.
If you have a current Dickinson license plate (one that has not expired), you will be sent a new one at no charge. Your new plate should have the same number as your old plate.
PennDOT has provided a fact sheet that contains details of the license plate change.
If you don't have a Dickinson license plate, you can display your pride in your alma mater by ordering one (Pennsylvania residents only). Contact the
Office of College Relations at (717) 245-1373 or e-mail: colrel@dickinson.edu. We will send you an application for the plate which you will have to fill out and send to PennDOT. There is a one-time registration fee of $20 per license plate. This fee is in addition to your yearly registration fees.
