It’s time for Dickinson’s annual Networking Day—a day for alumni to return to campus and talk with students about starting their careers, heading off to graduate school and navigating professional life outside of the limestone walls.
"Hearing stories from alumni about their career paths made my job search seem more accessible." - Hannah '13
"I enjoy attending networking day as a way to pay it forward. Some of my closest mentors are Dickinson faculty and alumni thus I feel compelled to share my knowledge and experiences to positively impact the lives of others." - Michael '06
"Networking day is critically important for seniors to get ahead; I had a great mock interview with an alum that I still keep in contact with today. Meeting with alumni in my prospective fields allowed me to learn more about my own career path, as well as gave me the knowledge to be successful in my job search." – Matthew '13
"Networking day is about connecting with fellow Dickinsonians. It gives students and alumni a chance build a professional network and enhance the skills that are necessary for a successful career." - Elizabeth '09
"Although I'm retired from the military and don't have a job to offer a Dickinson grad, I found my experience still seemed to resonate with the students I met. Something as simple as how to shake hands or gracefully move from one conversation to another seemed to matter. I think every alum has life experiences which can help Dickinson seniors make the connections they need for future success." - Cathy '80
