Welcome to Dickinson College!
Visiting Dickinson’s beautiful 180-acre campus is
strongly encouraged. Once you’re here, you can get
a better sense of whether Dickinson is the right fit for
you. Typically our office is open year-round from 8:30 a.m.
to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. We also are open on Saturdays during
certain times of the year.

schedule may be limited when classes are not in session,
during holiday periods or on special visit days. Please

Fall Open Houses
Plan your fall travel around one of our visit opportunities—an
ideal introductory look at Dickinson! Program highlights
include a campus tour, an information session, lunch and an opportunity to
meet the admissions staff to have your individual questions addressed.

Information Sessions |
 |
Information Sessions are conducted by admissions staff members and provide an excellent opportunity to learn about the college’s distinctive mission and programs, faculty and student experiences, and the admission, scholarship and financial-aid processes.
Information Sessions are typically conducted by admissions
staff at 10:15 a.m. Monday through Friday September
through December.
On the following date we will also offer a 2:15 p.m.

Campus Tours |

Our tour guides
typically conduct tours Monday through Friday at 9,
10 and 11 a.m. and 1, 2 and 3 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov 25, campus tours will be
available at the following times: 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Student volunteers (the Liberty Cap Society) will show you around and answer any
questions you may have. You’ll get a glimpse
inside a residence hall, some academic buildings and
other facilities like the Holland Union Building (student
center), the Kline Center (athletics facilities) and
the Waidner-Spahr Library. |

Day Visits |
 |
A day visit gives you the opportunity
to experience life as a Dickinson student for the day.
Each day-visit itinerary is customized for you. Typically,
it will include (but is not limited to) attending classes
in an area of academic interest and lunch in the Dining
Hall with a current Dickinson student. Optional requests
may include a campus tour or
meeting with a faculty member or coach. The day-visit
program is our most popular option for students hoping
to explore Dickinson “behind the scenes.”
Day visits are offered most Mondays and Fridays
from September 7 through November 23 and must
be scheduled two weeks in advance by calling the
Office of Admissions at 800-644-1773. |

On-campus Interviews |
 |
Interviews, though not required, are
recommended. The interview gives you an opportunity
to obtain specific answers to your questions about
Dickinson and allows us to get to know more about your
personal interests and strengths. Interviews last approximately
35 minutes and are conducted by admissions counselors
and trained student
interviewers.
Wednesday, Nov. 25, interviews will be available at
9:15 and 10:15 a.m. only.
Interviews are typically offered on campus
Monday through Friday at 9:15, 10:15 and 11:15 a.m.,1:15,
2:15 and 3:15 p.m. for seniors only.

Forum (group interview opportunity)
Dickinson is a community of students, faculty and staff where ideas matter. Our
personal interaction with you is critical to the college selection. As an alternative
to the standard admission interview, Dickinson offers prospective students
the opportunity to participate in Forum on the following dates:
October 16, October 23 and October 30 and November 5 and November 6. Please

Off-campus Interviews |

If you are unable to schedule
an on-campus interview, off-campus interviews may be
available in your area. Off-campus interviews are conducted
by trained alumni and parent volunteers as well as
student interviewers. Off-campus interviews are accorded
the same weight in application review as those conducted
on campus. To confirm availability and schedule the
interview, please call the Office of Admissions at 800-644-1773.
Off-campus interviews
are only offered from mid-September
through the end of January and must be requested at
least three weeks before the application
program deadline by which you are applying.

Saturday
Visits |
Saturday visits include a 10:15 a.m. group information
session followed by an 11 a.m. tour.
