Dickinson offers application materials in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format that you can download from the Web. Students may print and complete the application as a paper-based document. You will need a copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader to view these files. Downloading the entire 23-page fall 2008 Dickinson Application, which includes all of the sections, might take a few minutes to complete.

As Dickinson processes your application, you might receive notification that your application is incomplete and that one or more of your documents are missing either from you or from your school. For your convenience, the separate sections of the application are listed below as Adobe Acrobat PDF files to download and submit to the admissions office by e-mail as an attachment, by fax or by regular mail.

These items must be completed by the student:

• 2007-08 First-Year Application ( four-page section only, complete application see above)

• Dickinson College Supplemental Form
  

• Personal Essay

• Required Statement
  

• Non-refundable $65 application fee agreement OR students may pay the fee online via our secured server using Visa or MasterCard

• Early Decision Agreement (if applying as an Early Decision I or II candidate)

These items must be completed/submitted by the school or testing service:

• Counselor Evaluation (part of the Secondary School Report) - official secondary school transcript(s) which list all courses and grades along with a personal evaluation to be completed by the guidance counselor, college adviser, headmaster.

• Midyear Report (first trimester grades or first semester senior grades)

• Teacher Evaluation (one required, two recommended from a teacher who instructed the candidate in English, math, science, social science/history, or foreign language)

• Official SAT I or ACT test results (optional for admission, but required for academic scholarship consideration). SAT II Subject Test scores are not required for admission to Dickinson, although applicants may submit these scores as additional information in support of their application. To have scores sent directly to Dickinson from the testing agency, use code 2186 for SATs and code 3550 for ACT. For international students taking the TOEFL test, use code 2186.

• Request for Final Transcript - only applicants who have been accepted and officially enrolled at Dickinson should ask a school official to complete this form at the end of their senior year.
