Alumni and Emeriti

Our mission still continues to be to provide the means for students to develop literary, linguistic, and cultural competence within multi-disciplinary contexts. We hope that this mission has served our students well. Some of our students have gone on to accomplish great things using the skills they developed during their time as majors in our department. The paths they have taken are many and varied as some of our 922 alumni on record have careers in academics, law, medicine, translation, business, finance, education as well as in many other fields both in the United States and around the world.
