Alumni Wins Prestigious Award

Ritwik Niyogi '09 (a triple major) has won the prestigious German "Brains for Brains Young Researchers' Computational Neuroscience Awards". He received this award based on his research here in the physics department. The award specifically cites the paper he and Professor Lars English wrote together: 

R.G. Niyogi, L.Q. English, "Learning-rate-dependent clustering and self-development in a network of coupled phase oscillators", Phys. Rev. E 80, 066213 (2009).
