History major Will Nelligan ('14) recently had a provocative blog post for the Carlisle Policy Forum featured in national social media and labeled by the popular online news magazine, The Week, as one of the "Best" opinion pieces of the week on the subject of the killing of Anwar Al-Awlaki. Responding to news reports about the legal process employed by the Obama Administration to justify the targeted assassination of an American citizen, Nelligan claimed that the "careful and cautious" nature of the administration's legal reasoning gave him "a great deal of optimism about the rule of law under this president."
