KDP Food Drive Photo Gallery

On Tuesday December 4, the social committee held a dinner and a movie night. We watched the movie, Hunger Hits Home, which is focused on the issue of child hunger in the United States. The movie talked about child hunger, how it affects children in the classroom and how different programs and schools are working to combat hunger. In addition to watching the movie and eating dinner, we collected food to donate to Project Share. At this event we discussed how hunger is an educational issue and talked about different ways that we can help to end this problem.
