Dickinson Alumnae Sora Park ’07 has won a 2013 Fellowship on Women and Policy at SUNY Albany and will be working for Assemblywoman Barbara Clark for the 2013 legislative session.  Sora is a first year PhD student of Public Administration at Rockefeller College of Public Administration and Policy at SUNY Albany with specialization in Financial Market Regulation.  Originally from South Korea, Sora graduated from Dickinson College with a double major in Economics and International Business & Management.  She became interested in women’s economic and financial issues while taking the senior seminar class on Women in Economy by Professor Ebru Kongar. After receiving her Master’s degree in Economics from SUNY Buffalo, she worked in the New York State Assembly for the 2012 legislative session as a Graduate Scholar, which provided the opportunity for her to understand the public policy making process. She is now enthusiastic to go back to the Assembly for another year and work to enhance women’s roles through the legislature.  For more information on Sora Park and her Fellowship, please click here
