Ann Hill and co-editor Minglang Zhou recently published the book Affirmative Action in China and the US: A Dialogue on Inequality and Minority Education with Palgrave Macmillan Press. The book includes a chapter by Prof Hill entitled: "Native and Nation: Assimilation and the State in China and the U.S."
