About International Services in the Office of Global Education
The Office of Global Education at Dickinson College oversees all international and off-campus academic programs. Its mission is to foster and enhance the creation and implementation of international programs at the local, national and global levels that complement the overall academic mission of Dickinson College. To this end, the Office of Global Education works closely with faculty and administration on campus to develop and sustain quality global education programming for incoming students and scholars and outgoing programs for students and faculty.
Within the Office of Global Education, the guiding philosophy of international visitor services is to integrate international students into the Dickinson campus community as much as possible while at the same time providing appropriate support and assistance to them. To this end, the Office of Global Education works closely with other campus offices and students to insure that the special needs of international constituencies are met.
The mission of international services is to support and enhance the academic, cultural, and social interaction of international students and scholars at Dickinson College by facilitating the achievement of their academic and professional goals and objectives.
