Student Employment Recognition Programs

Campus wide, student employees and their supervisors make a tremendous difference. The Student Employment Office encourages everyone to say thank you to the students and supervisors who work throughout the Dickinson community, by taking part in this very worthwhile event.

In an effort to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of our student workers as well as their Supervisors. We are pleased to announce the 9th annual Dickinson College Student Employee of the Year award, and the 5th annual Dickinson College Supervisor of the Year award.  If you are employed by an outstanding supervisor, or if you have an outstanding student employee, this is your chance to express your appreciation.

        •        Supervisors who are nominated must be responsible for supervising the work of at least one student 
                  employee.  
        •        Only professional staff level supervisors are eligible to be nominated for the Supervisor of the Year 
                  award.  Student Supervisors are not eligible for the Supervisor of the Year Program, but may be 
                  nominated for the Student Employee of the Year Program  

The following prizes will be given in a joint Student Employee of the Year and Supervisor of the Year Celebration ceremony which will take place on Tuesday, April 9th, 2013 at twelve noon on Britton Plaza.

Student Employee of the Year (Nomination Instructions and Nomination Form)

    •            2013 Student Employee of the Year-Certificate and a $75 Gift Card 
    •            Three Honorable Mention Awards-Certificates and $30 Gift Cards

*In addition, the person selected as the Dickinson College Student Employee of the Year will be automatically nominated for additional awards at the State, Regional and National levels.

Supervisor of the Year (Nomination Instructions and Nomination Form)

    •            2013 Supervisor of the Year-Certificate and a $75 Gift Card 
    •            One Honorable Mention Award-Certificate and $30 Gift Card

*In addition, the person selected as the Dickinson College Supervisor of the Year will be automatically nominated for an additional award at the Regional level.   

The nomination materials are available above and must be submitted electronically.  The deadline for nominating a supervisor for consideration is Friday, February 15, 2013. Submissions that are not received electronically or that are not received by February 15, 2013 will not be considered.
