Committee on Investments



The Committee on Investments of the Board of Trustees is responsible and accountable, as delegated by the Board, for the prudent management of the endowment’s assets, including: 

        1.  Developing and maintaining investment policy in light of the College’s strategic plan 
        2.  Setting risk tolerances and controls 
        3.  Allocating assets 
        4.  Appointing and evaluating the investment office 
        5.  Reporting to the Board periodically the results of the investment program

In collaboration with the Committee on Finance, Budget and Audit, the Committee on Investments recommends a spending policy to the Board of Trustees for approval annually. The Committee on Investments receives updates on endowment performance at least monthly, gathers face-to-face at least three times per year and meets frequently by conference call to discuss changing market conditions and strategy. The Committee may be composed of both Trustee and non-Trustee members and may have up to six members. Currently, members include:
