Commencement Program

In addition to the information included in the program, there were several student and faculty honors announced at the Commencement ceremony. They include:
Faculty Awards
Constance & Rose
Ganoe Memorial Award for Inspirational Teaching
Established in 1969 with a
bequest from the late William A. Ganoe, class of 1902, the award is given
annually to a faculty member elected by the senior class through secret
balloting. The award includes an honorarium and the opportunity to use funds
from the Ganoe Memorial Fund to support his or her teaching and research
interests.
Daniel G. Cozort, Associate Professor of Religion
Distinguished Teaching
Award
The award, which is determined by faculty voting and then
approved by the college president, recognizes outstanding teaching and is the
highest honor given to a Dickinson faculty member.

Rusling Prize
The prize recognizes excellent scholarly achievement.

The John Patton Prize
for High Scholastic Standing
Shelly HwangHufstader Senior
Prizes
These prizes are awarded annually to the senior man and senior woman
who, in the judgment of the president of the college, have made the greatest
contributions to the good of the college during their undergraduate years.
